You are making a mountain out of a molehill. Crap like that is going to happen no matter SE gives us. Why should this stop them from giving it to us? And why can't the general player-base just GROW UP instead of getting all butt hurt over criticism? The PF is there for people to set parameters for their party. If you don't like their parameters, no one is forcing you to join that party? Try making your own PF with your own rules. If people want to do the content they will join it, and you will have the ability to kick anyone you deem too "elitist" or "hardcore".

Some of us have fun by trying to be the best. Not everyone who wants to be the best gets their jollies off by making the worst feel bad about them being bad.

I am not sure who's butthurt, to use your nice words. We are debating points here, for everyone to see. If people see that as personal attacks, that's their own problems and I can suggest to see a doctor, they sell pills for that.

I guess we have different views about how FFXIV should be played. I love big numbers in game where it counts. This one ain't one, as per the views of Yoshida.

If it's different, please let us have him explain it to us.

It's all cool with me with trying to be the best. That doesn't mean you need to belittle others that just want to have fun, for the sake of what you call a game.

Even here it's clear we have different levels of players, and each is entitled to have a game that they could enjoy. So if they would have said yes, even I would have used it.

The true elites here: SE. They reign supreme. They don't want us to split and provoke resentment, which as a type it's obvious we are on different levels.

We, the common folks, can express like what the OP did here, and many others before him, their questions, opinions, suggestions. People have stated their points many times, and SE gave a decision.. Feels like we are going into appeal just like in real life..
