In Game DPS Meter

And I have already seen it has backed people into a corner from a "dps" meter to a "time attack"....which is pretty redundant in most games (even games that public list them have to reset and recalibrate with much effort every month or so)

If it was for personal use...we have that, what in the end is always brought up is a way to announce it to the world...and people have to ask...why?

Please, try to understand. This is 100% for personal solo use. Any amount of glory or bragging is entirely imagined by you. I have ZERO intentions to use this for bragging as I only want a tool. This is something I've said repeatedly. Why is this so entirely difficult for you to grasp? I've never once said I wanted the details to goto people and brag. I even went to length to discuss why I don't want DPS output specifically because I wanted to avoid that kind of use case. This isn't any thinly veiled attempt to do anything you suggested. It's a very overt and explicit attempt to come up with a right way to create this type of tool. Please stop pushing your prejudices onto me as some sort of personification of all that is bad with the game. I'm trying to help by giving newer players some way to practice and gauge themselves. It could actually help the game more than hinder it.

Also, even forums where we discuss this stuff have rules about staying on topic. You've made it very very clear you don't like these ideas. Posting about it 100 times will not make that any clearer. We get it. You don't like it. Square, when they read this thread, can see that you don't like it. You've made your voice heard. Now can we please stay on topic please?
