Is Frontlines instanced or open world content?

Will new PVP abilities be added to the list along with GC rank moves as well?
Will GC PVP gear be placed in FFXIV? and will this mean new marks for FrontLines?
Are there bonuses for PVPers who do really well in a match or battle, in Front lines? such as if a person happened to get the objective or a large amount of kills?
Will FL be varied or 1 game mode, and will it be objective based or TDM?
Are there any plans, to allow groups to que up,'more than 8'?

What does Frontlines means? What in any way what we will do?

As frontlines are expected to be fights between grand companies, will players be restricted to only being able to play for their own company and therefore unable to group with their friends who are aligned with a different one?
Are there any changes coming as to how grand company alignment work if this is to be the case?

Is Frontlines for end-game/highly geared players or can most people experience it? If anyone can join how will you balance the highly geared players VS the weaker players who can get one-shotted?
