Is there any possibility for making a chocobo, through raising, have the ability to have all points unlocked?

With all the new features for Chocobos coming, are there any plans to make riding them more enjoyable?

At the moment riding them is the same experience as waling around yourself (just faster)

Adding a more immersive feel to riding our Chocobos would make the game so much funner.

What I mean is the ability to guide the animal and then maybe tap a button to have them move forward. Guided riding is always funner.
