SMN in T8

Everyone is fighting over Garuda and Ifrit, and I'm just sitting here using Titan on T8.

It is retarded you all still talk about this. When no parser is even close to accurate on summoner and the difference in pets is probably less then the variability of the parser.

Act reads from memory now so it's pretty spot on for even dots. Generally take the error range as +/- 5

Although you shouldn't combine garuda with the owner, it can be wonky with a setup like that sometimes.

My ilvl 97 with weathered book of spade did 333 dps on T8 last night (with Foe)
I would like to improve my dps and seeking for you guyz advise.

The things I did were,
1. Try Keep B2MS + Shadow Flase up all the time (there was some down time cuz running to tower and LM)
2. Occassionally right-click to auto-attack (this net me 4.5 dps)
3. If DN is going to spawn,
- Save 2 Aetherstacks and Contagion if DN is going to spawn. Use RS at around 15 sec before DN spawn,
B2MS + M2 + Poison pot + Contagion and Bane to DN (sometime I forgot to save stacks,buff)
- Fester DN, Virus, Rouse + Spur > Enkindle + Aerial Slash, Ruin I/Fester til DN dead.
4. If no DN soon,
- If Contagion up, I will use M2 + Posion Pot and Contagion.
- Use Rouse/Spur and Fester as soon as it available.
5. I don't weave Ruin II when Buffing/Fester because my MP will depleted very fast
( like less than 4 mins ) before get Mage's Ballad that Bard use for Healers around 6th minute.
6. But when Mage's Ballad is up, I occassionally do weaving.
7. I don't use Int Potion yet, as still not accurate in rotation execution.

Despite of I messed up saving stack/buff or rotation myself, is there anything else I didn't do to maximize dps output ?
Anyway I'd like to know what is best time to pop RS, cuz I can't have RS up for every DN.

I peaked at 386 earlier at i98 with weathered spades as the weapon. I can see myself hitting 400+ with 110 weapon.

I don't miasma 2 except for my opener, only use shadowflare on opener and before DN come out. I only bane DN, don't fester them, the longer they're up the longer my dots tick on them the more dps I get. Ruin 2 as little as possible, I try to use bio recasts to weave my festers. RS+int pot at the start, on the 2nd DN, and then when its up again with another int pot (we don't get any more DN after the 2nd one). I ask for about 10-15 sec of foe, just enough so I don't need to energy drain.

Shadow Flare is worth to use if it dot tick to target for all duration, no ?

Anyway, you have the point to let dot tick on DN but my raid will yell why DN is so slow , lol.

Miasma 2 and Shadow Flare increase dps at the cost of greater MP consumption. I end the fight with close to 0 MP, if I were to use them more I'd run out too soon and would need more ballad which I'm not comfortable asking for considering that would mean less foes, which also benefits the blm. Or I would need to energy drain which is even worse.

For auto attack just put Avatar on focus target and make a habit of frequently right clicking on the focus frame, which initiates auto attack.

M2 + contagion is very minor dps increase. I use it when I have raging strikes up and that's it in T8, not worth the MP in the long run to keep doing it on every contagion and sometimes you just don't have the time for it. I do try and keep shadow flare up often though myself.

One more question, sometime auto-attack cancelled when I right-click to change camera angle and I forgot to click on Boss again.
Is there any way to lock auto-attack on target ?

I tried to bind auto-attack with B2MB spell but it go on/off due to I am spamming the buttons
