Away with parley.
Away with parley.
It's not luck. The core mechanics are broken and it gives you an extra turn to win, plus the computer seems to decide to give you an advantage nearly all of the time with the card drops, or a poor decision on the AI, even at 5 stars.

It's still luck when you choose a 23 point node that connects with a 14 point node because it's the best option on the board and then two 30 point identical panels show up and the opponent takes them and you can't recover.
Everything you posted can be fixed, it's not like you even stated a problem with the game itself. Like I said, it's just very basic right now, I want them to expand on it.

I can't remember what if this was right, but I think the decision it makes at 5 stars is aiming for the single card that has the highest value. Whether or not if that card is aligned with other similar cards for a combo is rather luck upon what random cards appears later.
Since as a human player you always would go for the highest value combo to get a good head start. However, since you are going for the combo, you are basically wiping out 3~4 cards at a time. You have no idea what those cards coming in would be, hence luck. You could try to mix up and ruin possible future combos, but you never know what new card would be coming in next.
I've literally failed the mission's "5 star parley" 6 times or more and almost timed out for the mission. This was because the bar was set so high that if the computer managed to get a 30+ combo at his last turn (which was pretty much any combination) he would have a 90% guarantee win unless if I get a same combo of the same value or higher.

I hate Parley. That's all I can say about it, I truly hate it and it makes quests unenjoyable. Well, until you're done with the Parley, then there's joy!
