I don't know why people don't do this. For me personally, I was excited to upgrade to dragoon/monk. Felt like that's where the game really began to open up, and every thing before it was just mundane tutorial/training wheels crap.

it is easier to solo pve as class , eventually go into group dungeon with class is not bad, but gear need to be up to date
Only if you're leveling multiple classes. When I leveled to 50 on BRD, the only other class I had leveled was PGL to unlock BRD, so I had no other cross-class. As such, the job was the way to go just for the stat boost.
sorry for not say it clearly, but ofc that is only if you lvl multi class to have multi cross skill ability, if ARC is your only class then BRD is better and have more benefit
I had a cnj show up in Brayflox about a week ago...Brayflox HM. Yeah...
They simply doesn't know that they are expected to get a job and/or do not know how to. Have had alot of these people in Brayflox.
Learn, explore, and think for yourself. Make your choices, take actions, and let yourself be free.
^This. I see plenty of people that do not know they can unlock a job or how to do it. They also probably do not know they should do class quests every 5 levels. Had a gladiator like that in Stone Vigil last night. We still managed to complete it though (the healer was super awesome).
Unlocking a job is rare to Final Fantasy I've never seen an mmorpg have such requirements. Honestly unlock jobs don't make any sense at all. I thought they were just MORE jobs not WHERE YOU MUST GO. Lucky for me I wanted to be a paladin (I was in FFXI) so I researched and found out. I feel sorry for those who don't know and get ridiculed. That could have been me looking the idiot just luck it wasn't.

I had at least 3 dungeons with 40-48 Gladiators, after the first two trash pulls i usually leave because everyone has hate besides the useless tank. Of course when you try to talk them they never answer or even consider doing anything.
