Level 50 Gathering/Challenge log issue/question/suggestion

Level 50 unspoiled nodes, when gathered as Miner and Botanist are not being counted as the challenge log Disciples of the Land "The Gathering Storm" requirements?

I've just now gathered Earth and Fire Clusters, which are stated as level 50, and i am level 50 of course, but nothing is being counted in my challenge log.

I'm confused.

That's weird. I know I get challenge log credit for shroud tea leaves and that's an unspoiled node.

I wouldn't really bother. I usually gather GC supply/provisioning stuff anyways. Handing them all HQ will net twice the rewards, can sell/npc or even use them for crafting. Plus I will always need GC seals for those 2 star mats or even sell them since they are quite expensive. And I do that daily while digging for TH maps same time, the challenge log would finished real quick anyways. Win - win. lol

Weird, I'm pretty sure I finished off that challenge on the Umbral Rock node last week. That's one of the new unspoiled nodes though, so maybe it doesn't work with the old ones?

So i'm guessing level 50 clusters specifically arent counted? That seems silly.

I noticed something weird when leveling my BTN.

I was like level 34 at the time.

I was gathering lv 36/37 items.

Gathered around 50 of them.

When I checked the challlenge log, it was still at 0. (It was tue/wed)

Gathered a couple of lv 31/32/33 items.

Challenge log registered a few items and it was not at 0 anymore.

So it seems it must be of the same "set" of items of your level... 31-35, not 36-40.

Really stupid implementation imho.

Not just clusters. At lvl 50 Carbonised Matter also is not counted in challenge log. Which sucks cause I tend to do my map hunting on CM nodes.

Someone in my FC had a theory that only items that can be gathered in NQ and HQ form count to the log, so CM and clusters don't count. Does dirt count to the log? I've never checked.

I think items that you cannot gain high quality from (like cluster, carbonized, etc) doesn't count towards the gathering challenge log.

It's because Coerthas and Mor Dhona do NOT count towards this achievement, not because of the unspoiled nodes.
