That's a bug though as it locks your allowed cross skills under 30 because of the job crystal. That's my guess anyway.
One Ilm Punch is not very useful either.
You... completely missed the point and didn't understand what dejavutwo just said. I'll use MNK as an example. Dragonkick is it's lvl 50 ability and does 150 potency when done at the flank. Bootshine is the lvl 1 ability and does 150 potency. They'll do the same damage if they were both synced to low levels.well if you use your skills lvl 50 with the power lvl 50 and you face a mob lvl 15 you with HP lvl 15, you dont believe you will just one shot it more so if you are four with all the strenght lvl 50...see my point? the gap is so huge that, UNLESS your lvl 50 abilities are adjusted to lvl 15, meaning when they hit they lose 90 % of their real power, you just will one shot each mob and by that forbid newby to learn of their own skills that are actually meant for that dungeon...

If the person is on a class, they'll be able to use stoneskin at low levels. If they are on their job, only SCH and PLD will be able to slot it for low levels.

Feint could use some serious work then. Ring of Thorns also kind of awkward since it's only really very useful after heavy thrust. Fracture could use a small buff to be useful as a cross class skill. Skull Sunder along with many other cross class skills are utterly useless and makes cross classing extremely boring.Greetings,
We do not have any plans at the moment to allow the use of higher level abilities when you are level capped.
On a somewhat related note, however, Yoshida mentioned during Letter from the Producer LIVE XIV that we will be looking into making adjustments to actions that are not used very much by each job.
We still haven't fixed One Ilm Punch?

Scale em all down... but please let my button mashing mechanically function the same for all content.
Because even in open world a lv 17 class can use Stoneskin if he have Conjurer on the righ level, while a Conjurer level 17 still can't use it.I know they could never give us all our abilities, but how about this - give us all abilities that are CROSS CLASS. Seriously. Every other class can use them. I can use Stoneskin as a Scholar in Sastasha. With my fairy. Why can't a WHM going to Sastasha use Stoneskin? That just seems a little unfair. By being cross class, these abilities were designed to be allowed in any low level dungeon.
Dragon Kick in first rotation and Bootshine in second rotation = more damage than Bootshine in both rotations. Freeze needs to go back to what it was in 1.0. Blizzard II should probably be looked at as well. I'm glad to hear they're at least aware of these "issues" and are looking into them.
