I'm ok with using already learned skill in low level dungeons.
So long the damage potency and the effect durability get reduced. A skill with dmg potency of 150 learned at lv 40 should have a dmg potency of 75 in a lv 20 dungeon

As a Monk, if I was back in Sastasha with all my skills? Suddenly I have some fairly potent AoE damage, roughly +35% persistent damage (Twin Snakes buff, Fists of Fire, Demolish debuff), an off-GCD AoE... so, no, it's not minimal. It's actually huge. (That's without traits, too, which can play a huge part)but the DPS stuff would really only make it so that players could use the skills they're used to using. A monk's highest potency attack is true strike, which is level 3 or something. Dragoon's get their most powerful attack in the mid twenties, black mages use fire. I'm not familiar enough with the others, but the point is as long as you don't get your class traits early the difference would be pretty minimal for DPS.
And you might go "but it's just more DPS, who cares"? The non-synced tank is going to care.
I get the "it's boring" and "it screws with your level 50 play". I really do. BUT, the difference that many skills from later levels make on your power is not to be underestimated.
This in turn would largely just confuse players who don't understand that it's going on ("Why does my Cure II suddenly suck worse than Cure I what the hell?") and would render a large number of these effects mostly meaningless or otherwise force really counterintuitive play patterns to actually make use of the ones still worth using.

Then that is the community's fault not SE.
Fates wise to me is abit over synced anyway mainly due to stats thet 50 players have compared to the low level people doing the fate. Giving them all skills would just simply not give the low level player a chance if any at all.
lol nope.
I, for one, kinda against the idea having access to all abilities regardless level sync. Might turn those dungeons into speed-run fiesta, which would attract more whiners about speed runs.
I think it is a good idea to left as it is, it should give players chance or reminders how to learn/do their jobs effectively.
More DPS in lower dungeons - faster killing AKA Speed Runs - only to get your tomes and gil - not what SE wanted you to join for, but to help lower ones.
If you cannot use your 3 abilities that you had when you were at that said lvl, and that you learned how to use them properly.. if that breaks your higher rotation's keyboard memory, then I think you have two choices: to do , or not to do.
Thank you for helping lower-lvl ones ^^
Same thing here: if a lower Fate was designed to be completed in 3 mins, keeping your abilities would make it down faster, when lower lvl ones don't even have a chocobo, and by the time they arrive, it's done, that's not helping them.
SE will put timers on Fates: still, when a lower lvl one will check where to go next, and everyone lvl 50 getting Atmas, they would still be the ones who have to pay for this.
I would love if they implemented this. Low level dungeons are boring as hell when I'm pinned to only 3 abilities. I have actually fallen asleep because of this. Luckily, my friend was able to wake me up before people got too suspicious.
lol
They are "easy" for a reason. Just cope with it if you're doing it for atma books or simply helping friends or even glamours. Otherwise, don't bother doing those since the end wouldn't justify the means.
It makes me not want to help people, tbh, which if you're trying to get a new friend into the game, they kind of expect you're going to show them the ropes.
Yes please
It's not fun! I will repeat! It is not FUN locked out of your skills for 30-45 minutes!
I do not want to do the dungeon under any circumstance! Not as a lvl 45, or a lvl 33, or lvl 50, if I'm locked out of my skills that I worked to attain! The dungeon is NOT FUN!
