I definitely believe that you should be able to queue as multiple eligible jobs for different things. It would make things simpler, at least for me.

The only issue I see is how the DF knows which gear you want to use when you're not in the job that you're queued in as, which can be a problem.

The only solution I can see is if a gear set can be marked as a "Designated Gear Set" for a certain Class/Job when queuing up for duties. That way, if I want to run, say... Halatali HM with my WAR, I have a designated gear set for my WAR. If I want to run Wolves Den as a MRD, I have a Designated Gear Set for my MRD. If I want to level my Bard, I can have a designated gear set for my Bard.

Exactly what I was thinking. All it would have to do is remember the Gear Set you utilized. If none was used (or say it was deleted mid-queue), it would simply know to equip whatever appropriate weapon/soul crystal you had available.

Otherwise, it would follow the typical procedure of 'material not found, weapon substituted, etc.".

Wouldn't even need to go that far. Simple check to see if you have a gearset for that job available, if so equip it. If it's the wrong set(say, a costume set for whatever reason), not terribly difficult for the player to just change to the right gearset at that point.

If no gear set, equip highest ilvl weapon available for that class and let the player learn that gear sets are a good idea...
