    Summoners in Final Fantasy •○●

Probably there are some threads about this ? Idk so just gona post it here .

for me fighting ifrit and bahmut for the 1st time was extremely fun to the point that I couldnt wait for the time when I can be a smn and summon those beasts ,I know we have those egi but as a summner i should have the ability to call them not to be followed and orederd as little bets ,I mean mounts are even bigger then the egi .

I know it may never happen but at least the limit break could be , even thu most of you think this will also be never since blm and smn share the same lb but why not maybe smn have its own lb .

Summoning were the best part for me in FF battels and I always love the entry for each of them .

Last thought( it might be old or wrong) , shive will be a primal as I heard any idea when we could fight this ice queen ?

well just sharing what in minde and I hope it could be possible in the future ^_^ .

What you think ? Feel free to agree or disagree .<3

You know how much FFXIV team loves to use themes from other media currently..

I can't wait for the quest title for Shiva "Do you want to build a snowman?"

Most likely won't happen due to lore reasons.

    1. The amount of crystal required for beastmen to summon them sounds bit more than what a single adventurer might be carrying.
    2. The Primals in XIV don't really like us much. I can see the summoner summoning them and getting insta-nuked by said primal for doing so.

I'm sure I'm missing other reasons.. but these are probably the two biggest reasons.

Well, the other glaring reason, is that the Primals aren't simply servants of those that call them. They temper their worshippers into thralls. Those that called on the Primals originally got tempered and are now hopelessly locked in for the rest of their lives, attempting to recruit new thralls to their cause, while bringing their God back into our realm. So bringing a Primal in, by a single player, would likely result in the same thing and as the storyline shows, we cant be tempered.

How the XIV team planned to give FC control over Primals in open world content I haven't the slightest idea. I'm kind of assuming it would be more like a shadow/mirror of the original Primal, instead of the Primal itself. That way we could use it's powers, but it wouldn't be the actual Primal, or have its actual mind to contest to. Just a weapon.

I personally really liked the idea that Yoshida had, because it had the same effect in mind that single player FF games had with the Summon beings. You call it, it does it's thing, then it's gone. I understand many SMN's feel jipped by the egi's, instead of a mini size Ifrit or Titan walking around behind them as they did in XI, but I have to honestly agree, it cheapens the concept of what these beings are to just have them walking around on a leash like that. The egi's are just a fragment of their powers, a mere fraction of their actual selves.

I didnt mean to summone them so they follow and they should never do , it more then call them to do an attack that reset for 15min or so then leave , the shadow/mirror is good too as long as summoner could actually do it.
It doesn't have to be one of the known primals we fought in game , we could get new one or two that smn can fight with 8 people so he/she could able to summon it in battels .

Couldn't it just be a slightly larger fragment? Like 40-50% larger would do.
