SMN Single Target Damage numbers

Was wondering what other Summoners were hitting for single target to see if I'm being effecient enough.
This is just on a dummy for rotation practice.
Currently I have 516 INT with an I90 weapon. I can do roughly 340-350 sustained DPS 3+ minutes. Is that reasonable?
PS thats with manually adding damage and calculating on a notepad.

assuming that dps is accurate, its actually rather high for a dummy test with the gear you have, unless you had a bard giving you foes for the test.
the only other thing is, 3 mins usually isnt a good judge, smn early burst dmg (first min) can get insanely high so its usually better to make it longer

With gears and stats information you given

340 is not ok but 350 is good, that's for 3 mins

Hardest part is DPS will drop down over time, try not to let DPS drop lower than 15 DPS from your maximum peak DPS you can do in 5 - 6 mins, at 4 mins point, your MP will burnt out and start to OOM, if you manage to do that, you are good SMN now

Practice will help you on rotation, good luck

peak dps can be prety absurd, with a lot of lucky crits i've been at over 600 before at around 1 min mark, and theres no way in hell anyone will maintain 585 dps lol

Oh wait dear oh wait, I didn't explains what I talking about, I am sorry if you misunderstanding

I know 450 - 600 DPS on first burst start, dmg can goes up that crazy

What peak I mean here is when its start dropped down from 450 - 600 to somewhere 385-400 on early post 1 min and steady for like 3 mins before you start to save up MP for a long fight like T8 because can't keep use Fester anymore, you need to use Energy Drain to get back your MP so we not fall into OOOOMM state (OOM = oh shit out of MP, I can't do anything!! helpppp)

We SMN have MP management to do, we can't keep casting like BLM do because BLM have infinite MP, they just simple keep casting until everything is dead

but we are not the same, we have only 3000 MP and we can recovery MP 600 per minute + Energy Drains x3 (How you decide what to use ED or Fester to get DPS is depends how you practice on it)

So I mean if you manage to maintain within 15 DPS from "peak" I say, 370-385 for 5 mins, you are really good to go

The more you practice on your rotation, more less gap of DPS dropped over time so keep practice and find what is best for you

And when you practice, you must imagine too how often you want to use Energy Drain before you start to call Bard pop up Mage's Ballard so you have MP back and start Full DPS again, keep that in mind too when you practice

For me, 5 mins is long enough and if you manage to DPS 5 mins without OOM and still have good DPS, you good

It is impossible to do sustained 350+ with that gear, in a reasonable fight 320-330 is very very good for i90 gear. 370 to 380 is only doable with i103+ gear and thats on a dummy fight like T8. It just sounds like ure inflating ur own dps, perhaps ure looking at peak dps or ur parser is not reading correctly.

impossible? lol no, my smn is i102 and im out doing your "impossible" dps, difficult is more appropriate, but theres more than just a few smn who can do it.

Looks about right for 3min. depending on if you start with aetherflow stacks or without difference will average around 15dps

though for any meaningful content your acc is too low (going by your lodestone profil)
