Oh. I was assuming it'd only change the main part like how the dyeable part of the gloam and auroral sets are for some reason the one part people usually wouldn't want to dye without the other parts being dyeable (the scarf) >.>; still either way this game seriously needs a multi-part dye system. Just about every other mmo I've seen with a dye system has it so you can dye 3 or more different parts of everything. Don't see why this can't have one. Another thing this game needs is proper black and white dyes >.> snow white just seems like a bleached brown and soot black is just a really dark brown. Ice blue and ink blue are the closest things to a real white and black but they're still off.
Well I've played other MMO's myself. Lord of the Rings Online, had a dye system very similar to this game. 1 dye worked your entire outfit, except certain key parts of it. Star Wars: The Old Republic, you had to equip the dye into the item slot, and can never remove it, but it was a multi-color dye. Like Light Green/Dark Green and such. I hated it. It was also stupid expensive. Then there was my last game I was on World of Warcraft, that had absolutely no dye system or anything for RPers. So I am pretty happy with the dye system as they got it right now. Would be nice to have a multi-dye system, but this one is fine regardless.Oh. i'd love a multi-part dye system like GW2
I'd bet ppl would dye emselves the
-colours of the rainbow
-bright contrasting neon colours that make you go wtfffff so uglyyyy
( refer to kudo spandex commercials)
- colour schemes to match their favourite characters ( i.e link, mario, snake, anime characters )
It's kinda a good thing and a bad thing in a sense but hey, more dye options = more fun!
Not possible in the current system
People already choose some of the worst looking colors I've ever seen.
*Quirks brow* People already do this too. Or did you miss the multiple Mario and Luigi's running around Ul'dah on Balmung? <.<
I'm sure it's been posted on the forums before though. I think I remember a topic about it. =p
