    Dyable AF?

According to one of the letter translation sites, the dyable AF is meant for retainers? Can we at least glamour the dyable AF for ourselves, even if it's just the quest set? I would really love to have for my white mage the robes be white with green dye in place of the red.

The red part likely isn't even the dyeable part. Dye probably only changes the white part. This game really needs a multi-part dye system.

    Here's the pic they showed:

It looked like it was dyed a type of pink and the red translated into a brown.

Oh. I was assuming it'd only change the main part like how the dyeable part of the gloam and auroral sets are for some reason the one part people usually wouldn't want to dye without the other parts being dyeable (the scarf) >.>; still either way this game seriously needs a multi-part dye system. Just about every other mmo I've seen with a dye system has it so you can dye 3 or more different parts of everything. Don't see why this can't have one. Another thing this game needs is proper black and white dyes >.> snow white just seems like a bleached brown and soot black is just a really dark brown. Ice blue and ink blue are the closest things to a real white and black but they're still off.

Well I've played other MMO's myself. Lord of the Rings Online, had a dye system very similar to this game. 1 dye worked your entire outfit, except certain key parts of it. Star Wars: The Old Republic, you had to equip the dye into the item slot, and can never remove it, but it was a multi-color dye. Like Light Green/Dark Green and such. I hated it. It was also stupid expensive. Then there was my last game I was on World of Warcraft, that had absolutely no dye system or anything for RPers. So I am pretty happy with the dye system as they got it right now. Would be nice to have a multi-dye system, but this one is fine regardless.

The colours will switch closer to the palette u chose.
    I.e tafetta cloth leggings part.
The colour u picked will be for the skirt part but the leggings will be dyed to a different colour within that palette.

Oh and here's the translation I am looking at:

    https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...view?sle=true#

The text under the image was:

Dyed (or dyeable?) AF variants, seems it’s meant for Retainers.
Mathieu Leduc: I think the retainers part was about how gear is "lying dormant" on your retainers, and YoshiP wants it be useful again

Hopefully that's what YoshiP meant, that the gear is laying dormant on retainers and they want it to be used again. I know one of the reasons I aint glamoured my AF, is because it's not customizable with dyes. It would be cool to dye the white mage robe into a hunter green. I'd be super happy if I could do that.

    You are correct.

I believe you are also correct.

As for myself, I don't see me using the Gallant or Vallor sets. The storyline of those sets is that you're the one, special independent Paladin... but Paladins are everywhere. I'd rather wear my Sentinel set, which I don't see everyone and her bitchy sister wearing (or, wait... am I everyone's bitchy sister?).

Well then that is awesome. I know when my AF becomes dyable, then I will definitely be glamouring it. I love the outfit model, but my chars main color is hunter green, so yeah as long as the robe can be green and white, I will be super happy.
