IMO, that's good enough provided that the other dps pulls their weights as well. That fight needs about 1700 dps at least. Assuming solo tank doing 100 DPS, each of the 5 DPS should do roughly 320 DPS. I think my static BLMs pull similar numbers or slightly higher.

Sounds like good DPS for a i92, guess T8 is not much to move for a BLM..

It's not but at the same time, it allows Monks and Dragoons to pull way ahead considering the boss is always facing 1 direction, never moving and never jumping, and when the melee have to hit Towers, they use their gapclosers (Shoulder Tackle, Eluzive Jump, Spineshatter Dive or Dragonfire Dive) to quickly get back into the action. The fight is much more friendly to melee then to a BLM. Hell I almost considered going DRG over SMN for T8 at one point

    What total INT?

I know BLM INT total 533 and Weapon level 100

He manage to do 350+ at the end of T8 (in the past, now his gears got stronger)

I think if you get 320 DPS, you are good to go (guess)

but I think 300 is too low for BLM if you ask me, BLM can do better than that, I think your RNG just bad luck?

Depends more on weapon ilvl than anything.

    ilvl 95 wep: 300-330
    ilvl 100 wep: 320-340
ilvl 110 wep: 350-360 (I've gotten 370 but had a lot of luck on procs)

Also the amount of uptime on foes req can cause your numbers to vary. The numbers posted above are from when you receive foes req once at the start of the fight and nowhere else.

There is certainly room to improve, but you sound to be pulling you weight, as a blm, with your gear.

Atherial Manipulation is very useful on times in this fight, in case you were not already using it.

Actually it's not only matter of weapon ilv but gear ilv and strat.

Because I can hit 360 dps with allagan staff and we do 4 dps that time. (With 5 dps I hit 350,don't ask me why it get lower with 5.)

Also if your party don't assign you any duty. It's easy to get to 350 dps as ilv98 even our bard only FOE one round.

"More on weapon ilvl than anything" that isn't to say other pieces don't matter. However, just due to gear rng, on average someones ilvl won't be far seperated from their weapon ilvl. At ilvl 98 w/95 wep I'm unsure if not having a duty changes it that much (usually I do towers/mines, but when I don't have to do many mines my dps usually doesn't vary much). Also upon inspecting your character, you neglected to note you have pentamelded crafted gear. Which, while ilvl 90, carries MUCH more weight than a normal 90 piece. I sincerely doubt, that without that crafted gear, a blm could reach 350 at ilvl 98, with a i95 wep.
