Perhaps functions could be added to the existing striking dummies allowing players to check their own DPS output while not in battle. Maybe, instead, create a special dummy that can be placed on estates that has this type of functionality. This would help players improve themselves and try out new rotations/strategies. This adjustment seems like it would fit in naturally with dummies since they currently serve little purpose..

I think this is a darn good idea, it should be considered.
