So, we have any word on that yet? I'd seriously like to get on changing my Roe lady alt off her miqo name. And considering how often my server is closed to new people, I'm not willing to move her servers and then hope and pray I can move her back.

We've got the magic juice. Where's the names to go with?

The team is still discussing the details around this, but in the future we definitely want to offer more phials of Fantasia as well as something that allows players to change their name.

Sorry to urinate on your conflagration a second, but that does not confirm that both features would be coming at the same time, in fact it doesn't even confirm it is coming at all. You could say yes they want to allow name changes so it probably will come at some point, but nothing there could even remotely be interpreted as a confirmation. There's no time scale, nor is there a method mentioned. That is just dev talk for "you'll get it when we figure something out and it's done".

Name change option is already ingame, even if it is a hidden option. Create on any server a character with the same name as your main, transfer to this server and you can change your name.

Yes and I'm willing to do that, but as I said, my server is frequently locked to new character creation. Getting back onto the server could take weeks, if not months, depending on the timing.

Yes, exactly my point. Asking if we have a time scale or a method or anything now in the works. We've got the first half of the equation. It'd be nice to hear if there's any more word on the other half. I was never expecting them both at the same time.
