Just recently started playing again. Got discouraged during beta/release and threw in the towel for awhile but I'm back to give it another go. Looking for someone to pal along with. Casual play, EST, usually on in the evenings/very early mornings (12AM-4AM). My highest is R20 THM. I played FFXI for years on Pandemonium and really miss having some people to play with. usually hangin' around @3-6isham EST myself, or around noon time. Also I spend 99% of my time in Limsa Lominsa even though it is detrimental to making friends here lol So if you play around Ul'Dah you probably will not run into me much hehe. and anyone else who plays crazy early and likes Limsa like I do, feel free to add me to your list of sea bound adventuring friends

Hi mate,

I think it's difficult to find friends on the forums. When ever I try to do that, I quickly find that our levels are out of sync, or our player time, or our interests. My advice would be to hop into the game, and do behests, and meet people there, invite them to leve with you etc

^ this is very much true, it's easier in-game than on the forums, tbh.

- Check out the Rabanastre Linkshell List thread and speak with some of the users in charge of the social linkshells, that is one good start.
- Try shouting in Ul'Dah as well, that's where everyone gets together.

If I was on Rabanastre I'd gladly hook up with you. But unless you want to make a toon on Besaid, which I doubt, then may your search continue to find other fruit!

yeah it is definitely easier to find people to group with in game, but never hurts to use both method! Nothing wrong with trying to take advantage of our highly underutilized community forums once in a while. Especially for those of us that cannot stand the smell of Ul'Dah
