Why is BLM getting a buff?

Hmm, if this is the case I find something wrong with "most" BLM's. I don't really believe it, but someone give me numbers proving me wrong, and I won't deny it.

Most BLM's in DF/PF do bad damage, regardless of their gears. (Same is true for WHM's, loads don't even use Holy for the AoE pulls)

If Holy is so powerful, I don't understand why Pt's aren't just 1 tank 3 whm's.

Because their single target damage is low (as it should be) and the bosses would take a lot longer. We are talking about their AOE.

all that everyone is basically arguing for is a nerf to the BLM AOE dmg and a buff to single target.

A nerf to our AoE damage would be a nerf to our single target damage, as we use Flare along in single target fights.

I want a small increase to our single target spells, to put us as a more acceptable dps class to take for coil2.

Boost other dps AoE if they want to (mostly talking about monk), but I don't think any class should be nerfed.
