How to Bard?

Straight Shot (*usually you need to keep this buff. ) + Bloodletter ->
Venomous Bite (*keep this dot) ->
Windbite (*keep this dot, and when 2 dots are critical, you have a 50% chance Bloodletter recast time will reset.) ->
Heavy Shot + Bloodletter (*I use a Macro: /ac "Heavy Shot" <t> /wait 1s /ac "Bloodletter" <t>) x N

You want to swap your macro around there. /ac "Bloodletter" first, remove the wait. Heavy shot. If Bloodletter is available it will fire off first and as it can be anim clipped, 2 taps fires em both off. But if Bloodletter isn't available will go straight to heavy shot.

Only macro I use for BRD.

Straight Shot--Internal release (weave into GCD)--Bloodletter---dots. Heavy shot spam weaving in procs for straighter shot, buffs and reapplying dots when needed.

3. legolas your way to the healer

4. shout for heals

5. die anyway

Make a macro with:

/ac "Bloodletter" <t>
/ac "Heavy Shot" <t>

That way you use your cd attacks whenever they're off cd.
Otherwise, it's just about getting a feel for your dot and buff timers, and reapply them when they're just about to run out. Using Fiery Arrow is a marginal dps buff for single target, but might as well throw it in there. Same with Blunt Arrow, if silencing isn't required. It's about finding the time between GCDs when bloodletter or misery's end isn't up

It's pointless to apply dots to targets that die quick (plumes in garuda, gaols in titan)

Then make this macro:

While having all the buffs on your hotbar (with some of them still on hotkeys, so you can activate them separately (I use Hawk's Eye and Barrage a lot in titan ex on gaols, eg).

Using songs (ballad primarily) is a matter of swiftly looking at healer mp, and knowing putting it up, when there isn't a dps race going on. Upping it for a few seconds between phases is something you can do, if you're feeling fancy.

Using Requiem is a question of how many casters are in the group, and wether or not you need mana for ballad later.

You don't want off gcds prioritizing on gcds. Bloodletter should only be used in between gcds. Having bloodletter above heavy shot in a macro is not the way to go.

Disagree, Bloodletter is first priority when it's available. Due to: Bloodletter used, using heavy shot, during that GCD bloodletter can proc again. so bloodletter-heavy shot-(proc)bloddletter- heavy shot. Which will potentially boost you DPS than using heavy shot first.

Also it's easier to fire off if it procs whilst applying dots. Instead of using a seperate keybind to weave bloodletter between GCD whilst applying twin shot + dots.
