Black Mage: What's your UI like...?

So...I have a hard time keeping my eyes off my Mana Bar/Buffs Bar.

I'm constantly waiting for those Fire Starter Procs and Thundercloud Procs.

And to also make sure I don't overstep my mana...

Therefore, I keep my Hp/Mp/Tp in the center of my screen and Buffs in the center so that I can not only keep a constant eye on those, but also on my character....

But at the same time....it annoys me that I "have" to do this.

What are your guys' interfaces like as BLM's?? Do you also stare at your Mp/Buff bar too? Or are you confident enough to not have to do this...?

Any suggestions on not having tunnel vision on these...? xD

Do you find yourself constantly staring at the mana bar/buff bar at all though??

Cause I have a feeling I wont be able to dodge AoEs and watch for my mana/procs unless the crap is in the center of the screen....lol

Every time I try placing them any lower.....it just doesn't work for me! haha!!!

Here's mine. It's with controller but if it's with KB, it wouldnt change much except for the crossbar becoming a hotbar slot.

see the Fire 3 and Thunder 3 on the top right, when firestarter or thundercloud procs, they will highlight and put CDs on there as well

mid of screen the important things:
- focus target
- cds
- most important thing for us mages --> face target macro ^_^

lefthand party setup is so close, cause i'm using same ui for my mainclass: tank, and bard, too.

Don't stare at the hotbar icon. Just look at your character, when firestarter/thundercloud procs, they will show up like when you craft stuff each time you use a skill, there's pop-up message shows up on your character figure.

And as for HUD, here's mine(it's an old one but I'm still at work, I can't post you my latest settings; however, it doesn't change much. A very classic one, similar to FF11's.

*I dislike the default chat log to be lower-right of the screen. It's year 2014, monitor screen is so wide, kinda of retarded to read the chat log/subtitles that way. Subtitles and any readings should be right in the middle bottom to make me feel comfortable reading them.

The picture you posted looks pretty nice as well !! I may adopt a little bit of that look.
