There are various emotes. Go close to a wall and smoosh your camera against said wall to get a super closeup, selfie style, then just open your emote menu (under social, though there's probably a text command too) and go through them one by one until you find one that fits well. Pointing, welcoming, comforting, etc, depending on race there are several good emotes for this.
