How long until we get the real summary?

Well we we had the live letter this morning and since Rein apparently wasn't allowed to live translate it we predictably only have the Q&A translated atm ignoring 90% of the letter. When can we expect the full summary covering the 90% you skipped and would it just be faster to learn Japanese myself?

actually only the E3 live letter will be english and (suprise surprise) will have live japanese translations while the following letter also from E3 (2 during E3) will be in japanese.

It wont have Live JP Translation...it'll have an English translator. Yoshi P doesn't speak the greatest English. I imagine the second Letter will also have translation considering the audience live at E3 will mostly be American. Kind of silly to basically hold an E3 panel in a language no one at the expo understands...

You did watch the live letter right ? where they said there would be a translation of the English one ? They did an english live letter at last years E3 too in which the full summery was put up not quite live but within 2 hours of it being done. not unreasonable to assume the same will take place this year.

Also they dont seem to have an issue doing a full japanese live letter at E3 as part 2 to the live letter from today will be in full japanese presented from E3.

And before this goes into the whole well Japan has more players arguement as to why they dont do much for their international audiance.

while this is not 100% accurate to total regional sales (missing the japanese PC version) it falls in line with the over 2M players (which usually means registered acounts for some reason no company actually gives out current accounts active) and if japan had sold 1.5M more PC copies to equal the rest of the world I am sure they would be claiming over 3.5M users since thats how the whole PR thing works (which btw is highly unlikely since PC gaming to this day still has not taken off nearly to the level as the western world).

How's it ungrateful? I'll admit they do great summary posts probably better than Reins stuff, but they take so damn long to do the letter content is no longer new or worth translating because it's been in game for two weeks already. And it's not a favour, what they're doing is a service previewing their game we all pay for. I understand why Yoshi does it in Japanese, but our team and I'm guessing every other language team needs to connect their base to the devs through proper translations. It was great we had Rein, but now he apparently can't do translations so everyone except the JP players are now forced to wait weeks upon weeks for our community team to do a proper official translation which is unacceptable imo.

As for the E3 letters Yuri is right according to what that guy tried to translate. We'll have one letter in English with JP translations and then another in Japanese

To be fair, I remember the good ol days when Squaresoft games took 9 to 18 months to translate, if they released in the west at all.
