    NM comeback in the form of "Hunts"

    Daily hunts have you go out to the overworld to fight " Risky mobs" which I am just going to call them NM's.

    Here is more overworld content for us! Keep it up SE!



    These hunts seem like they are coming from FFXII.

    There will be a "ranking" system. Higher your rank, the more mobs/stronger you can take on

    The "hunt related mobs" seem to be pop-able either by item or "purple ring, and when you enter the mob will pop"

    As long as it's a forced spawn which it looks like it will be everything is good. Bassically seems like a little bit of an upgrade of how maps currently work.

    I'm just stoked these will actually have a purpose that we already know about (Alexandrite) and Oils/Sands of Time will be a part of CT2 drops.

    Yah it was indicated some monsters would need potentially at least a Light Party of i80-i90ish players while others would be soloable. Definitely sounds like force spawn rather than more FATE crap. If it's somewhat like FFXII though they may also be conditional spawns.

    I dunno about conditional spawns, the only condition I can see them doing is like some of the Dailies where you kill 1-3 mobs and then the big one pops. That seems kinda out of place when your in a light party.

    There will be an aspect of competition - Free Companies can do weekly/monthly ranking competitions against each other based on the completion of daily hunts. (The same way there's technically FC rankings based on Grand Company Seal collection right now!)

    That said, it doesn't seem like there's going to be any fighting over 'who gets to pop the mob' in this system; and while they mentioned "some will be soloable", they also mentioned multiple tiers of difficulty - so it seems likely that the hard ones will expect at least a light party.

    Things to do with the free company, hell yeah~

    Let me clarify: as long as we don't have to camp against each other on spawns that have periodic windows, I'm 100% for this. Give everyone a fair chance at the hunts.

    I'm hoping this functions similarly to treasure hunts. You get the wanted bill (treasure map) you read it (decipher) and go to the designated place and search for it (dig). Then you and your applicable party members fight and claim your reward at the end.

    Because they wouldn't be so stupid as to make everyone on the server have the same hunt that spawns at the same place at a certain time and only one person/party gets credit for it and the others have to wait till the next spawn window would they? ...would they?

    West La Noscea, 1 cyclope spawn around wineport, another around Costa De Sol after the first died, both need to be killed in 8 minutes or mission failed

    I think it is more like the old good faction leves. With no treasure chest at the beginning of the fight, the chest pop up after the fight.
