    Used benchmark, got 308

    lmao

    cpu 2.4 dual core
    4 gb ddr3 ram
the mighty ati radeon hd 4250. 300 dedicated memory 1.6gb shared.

on my laptop i have played game like MW2, rift, wow and guild wars. they all run fine on mid settings.

Why did SE only aim at high end pcs? Ive heard guild wars 2 are aiming at mid range.

Reading through he forums ive noticed even the high spec pcs are having problems dealing with the fps.

They probably didn't aim at highend... it just ended up like this due to poor optimizations. The HD4250 is pretty lowend and old already. The game works fine on current midrange hardware.

And 9 yrs later, look at how elegantly FFXI has aged, still rivaling most newer MMOs in style, design and cultural influence.

yes but wow, rift, guildwars still don't look as good as FFXIV or even FFXI when play high setting and editing the game files lol.

You can get a 450GTS which cost 119$ USA and play the game at pretty good setting without issue.

am playing on a 3780 ATI and playing Med-high 1440x900

Just for a little comfort the benchmark is junk, so don't take what it says about anything to heart. I have a machine with 2x 1GB GTX460's and a second high end machine with a 580. I didn't break 2,000 on either one, but I'm currently playing on the dual 460 machine at 1920x1080 and everything runs great. The benchmark is outdated and was never very well put together.
