Because for a monk, you are barred from using the higher actions on the list (thus the error message when the macro tries and fails the first 1/2 lines. Heavy Swing and Maim are always available to use so Heavy Swing is always the answer.but aren't all those actions on the GCD? if so, then it is impossible that that macro actually works. it sure as hell don't work for me. i tried creating a macro to be lazy on FATE's. it was...
/ac "Heavy Swing"
/ac "Maim"
/ac "Storm's Path"
and i had gotten the same issue with the "cannot use yet." error. however the macro only properly executes Heavy Swing. because there is no wait timer, the macro tries to execute the next two actions while the GCD is still active. hence the error. it's obvious a wait timer is needed. the ONLY way that macro works for me is to spam it.
so ya... i fail to understand how such a macro works for anyone. you can't execute 3 actions at the same bleeding time.
Exactly. MRD/WAR doesn't have stances it has to be in to use certain abilities. PGL/MNK does. If you play PGL a while it'll become very obvious why such a macro would work. True Strike may be on the GCD, but that doesn't mean you can always use it. You MUST be be in Raptor Form to use it.
A PGL/MNK can never be in more than one form at a time. This macro has an ability that can only be used in Coeurl Form, another ability that can only be used in Raptor Form, and one ability (at the end, which will only go off if the prior two fail) that can be used in any form.
oh okay. i see the way the macro works now. i should have looked at the skill descriptions before hand. and was under the impression the macro was being used to execute 3 actions in a row with only a single press of the button. but i can see now that he would be pressing the button 3 times to execute the whole rotation. interesting.
anyhow, sorry for the confusion. and thank you for explaining!![]()
Hello!
Stopping in again to make another follow-up about the error message display.
The main reason that this error message is displayed in the center of your screen is due to the fact that this message has different lengths for each of our supported languages with German being the longest at three lines of text.
As I mentioned the other day, this is still being looked into and we’re not at the point where we can announce an implementation date yet, but we’re also looking into making it so you can change the position of the text. However, in the case that we do implement a feature such as this, we plan on limiting it to top or bottom positioning and display size changes.

I'd like it off too.
I use the lazy BRD macro which is append mysery's end and bloodletter to every single skill so I always have that appearing on the screen.
Now I'm just curious what the heck the German message actually says, to be three lines long... (I'm just over here thinking of three different ways to say "Cannot use now" in German, and none of them would take more than one line.) Interesting!
"Kann jetzt nicht verwenden" shouldn't take 3 lines, lol.
The longest message i know you can get (in the chat) is the equivalent for "<t> is not a valid target.":
"Der Unterbefehl [Name des Ziels] an der 2. Stelle des Textkommandos (<t>) ist fehlerhaft." - which basically translates: "The subinstruction [Name of the target] at the 2nd position of the textcommand (<t>) is faulty."
So no real clue what he's talking bout, two friends of mine both play on the german client and don't really remember any multiple liners directly on screen :x
('-')/
Does this include the "The boss room will seal off in 15 seconds!" or "The Catoblepas eye glows an eerie yellow" messages? Because I really hate where that little black box shows up, and I want to move it.Hello!

Q20: Will we ever be able to send tells from within an instanced area?
A20: While the feature can be implemented, it’s currently masked. It’s currently masked because we would like to prevent players from harassing each other just because they know they would never party together in the future. We will continue to monitor the situation carefully as we move forward.
Enjoy having less DPS because all of your macro'd abilities don't queue. You're automatically going to lose up to 0.3 seconds every action depending on how fast you spam your keys and your ping.
On that note, SE please make /ac commands queue like normal actions do.
