Selection of Many Worlds Unavailable

Hi, I'm relatively new to the game but just today found out that my brother also has bought and plays the game. Unfortunately, he started his character on a different world server than mine. He was reluctant to have to start all over on a new character on my world server (Gilgamesh), so I decided to simply pay the $18 and transfer over to his (Exodus). I was told the transaction was successful, and promptly received an email a few minutes later saying that the transfer was completed and I was now able to 'log back into my character and begin playing again!'

Unfortunately, when I log into my account on the PS4, not only is my character nowhere to be found, but neither is the world server of Exodus at all. Furthermore, other servers are absent from the list, such as Behemoth, Leviathan, and others. I figure it can't be because of server overpopulation because servers such as Cactuar and Gilgamesh still appear on the list, but are instead grayed out.

I've already been told my transfer was successful and my character is now gone from Gilgamesh. But not only can I not log into my character on the newly transferred-to Exodus, but the server is nowhere to be found entirely, among others. I can't create a new character on it, since it won't show up on the list, and worst of all my $18 is perhaps wasted..

Any ideas? Is this common and I'm just missing something?

I would contact SE about it. I actually have a friend planning to play on a server that I can't access from my list, so I can't create a character for that server. If it's also not possible to transfer to servers that don't appear on the list, then that would be good to know. I hope you're able to get your character back.

The worlds are split into several data clusters. http://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/commen...center_option/

Gilgamesh is in the Aether cluster
Exodus is in the Primal cluster (welcome to Primal!)

On the login screen there should be an option to select your data center/cluster. It will default to the one you used last (Aether), so you need to change it to Primal. You should then be able to access all those worlds and your character.

Btw - your lodestone profile shows you are on Exodus, so it was successful.

Well I was doing some Googling to see if others were encountering the problem of some servers not appearing, and was unable to find anything. At the very least, it's good to know that I'm not the only one with an 'incomplete' list. But yeah, I guess be careful because the transfer did go through, and my main is now in Exodus. I just can't access him for the time being because the server isn't there.

Ah-ha! So there is a common solution that I'm just too new to know about. Thanks much for the heads up! Now I can get back to playing and hopefully catch up to my bro. Appreciate it
