Would anyone know what caused this?

Last night when I finished a T4, my loading screen was excessively long. After that, sound effects and graphics effects were majorly delayed. I wasn't getting any drop in framerate, just major delay in graphics effects and sound effects. Windows were popping up after a delay as well. It seemed like everything was majorly delayed, but my framerate remained at 60+. If I hadn't done a speedtest, I would have cracked it up to be net lag, but my net was running perfectly as well.

It happened a bit this morning as well. I'm a bit concerned. I've never seen anything like this before.

You may have checked your net speed, but did you check your connection speed to the SE server? If any of the nodes along the way were congested, then there's your answer.

I'm not sure how I'd check that.

Same thing happens to me when I'm doing Bray speedruns, I just log out and log back in and that usually fixes the problem.

I tried relogging once, but it didn't fix the problem. Resetting my PC fixed it though. It is nice to hear that someone is having the same issue.

That sounds like you were running out of RAM and your PC was starting to use Virtual Memory (a block of HD space used as RAM). VM is always slower because it's pulling on and off the HD instead of RAM. Resetting the PC fixed it because it flushed your RAM. Keep an eye on it and see if it starts happening again after you've been playing awhile.
