    Check your video card, seems like that's an issue because it should not look like that.
    And if you're on a ps3/ps4 it might be on the end of its line or just need a good old dusting

    yeah that looks like a video card issue on the computer or a dusting of the pS3/4 like Nuko said.

    Definitely a technical issues, depending on what you are playing on. If you are on PC take out your video card and re-seat it. If console try dusting.

    I have this issue as well (PC), and XIV is the only game it happens with. I don't think it's a case of the card being improperly seated (tried that before, didn't do anything). I think it's just good old fashioned "Your card ain't good enough bro!"

    I had the same issue, and it has been a while, but I believe updating the drivers fixed it for me. My card is also of the Radeon series.
