Players with shining weapon in low level fates

The guys at Square think it is a good idea to force high level players to farm hundreds of low level Fates if they want to upgrade their relic weapons. So that is what they are doing. Edit: And "hundreds" is not exaggerated btw.

It took me about 1100 fates, most people I know average around 500.

That's actually incorrect - you don't need to have the weapon equipped, just the quest active.

Do not listen to this person it has been confirmed time and time again you must have a relic zenith equipped as it's is also stated in the quest(I know it's so hard to read the first 3 sentences), even an atma/animus weapon won't work( which really is what bugs me)
