SE FIX This Exploit.... Bug..

Maybe all the people leaving are just "testing" lol.

This is an mmorpg; a game you play with real life people. If you cut out the real life variable then you might as well be playing a solo game. Real life people do odd things. If you make to many rules you take the "life" out of a game (or anything else we touch) and we might as well all be npc's.

That said, I have never been the first person to leave a dungeon even when I was suppose to be somewhere in real life - yet. I give people in cyber space weight and try to treat them fairly. But if I had an emergency I would go. People leaving right when we start a dungeon does happen way to often. I play DD and I'm willing to queue up again. There is no rule SE could make to fix this. It's the human element. It makes me appreciate more people who stick out an entire dungeon with me. But if you peeps have an emergency and have to go then go. This is just a game. Real life is more important.

This is not an exploit or a bug. It is a decent topic to discuss tho.

First rule of reporting exploits: report it privately and don't tell people how to reproduce it.

There was already a whole thread describing how to get no penalty when you leave df parties mid way.
All it involved was simply clicking the
Top right checkbox on the duty finder list.

just because they are paladin or healer and they get insta queue and feel entitled and dont care because nothing is being done about them deserting players and wrecking the game play and purpose of duty roulette .....

Yeah this morning I went in as healer to low and expert, low was Haukke Manor and expert was Lost City both times the DPS left. What cracks me up is DPS including myself whine about long ques but then they do this? I even changed to whm to get in even though I hate healing most things expert. Now the low level was easy as the tank, BLM and myself just did it trio style. One fix I see would be to scale the dungeons the party size since you clearly don't need a full group for most or even do 3 man dungeons or even 2 man and adjust the rewards and treasure chests.

Well, that would explain the last two days of DFR. Instant it was anything but Brayflox half of the party left two days in a row, we'll see if the pattern holds. I don't particularly enjoy spending half an hour in DF waiting for my roulette as it is but then having to go through that all over again because some asshats don't like the dungeon they got is beyond infuriating.

I can understand you, perfectly understand you... Whatever using tank or dps or healer, whenever I go duty roulette... It is or Tamtara or Thousand Maws, and god, I'm TIRED of those, and their landscape is just ridiculous, the same, monotonous, singular, repetitive, koboldly, the same.

Can't stand those, it is a ragequit, nothing personal with the party members but... It is a problem of the duty finder, it should make me do different dungeons, not always the same ones I HATE.



About it the penalty or not penalty, I joined with tank one day to roulette, it was too late and I decided the following: "If it is Lost city of amdapor, I log out and go bed". It was lost city, I quitted, but noticed that there was no penalty so thought... "Why not?" next one was brayflox and I capped quickly my soldiery the monday night.

But I don't know exactly when the penalization appears or not, tried other day for curiosity and got penalized.

OP is wrong when you leave a dungeon you get a penalty. I have never not gotten a 30 min penalty when I have left a dungeon i didn't want to do.

I think it's broken because last time I had to use it there was no penalty of any kind.
