I just don't see the point of adding Linkshells on, even considering that the other threads did not allow it either. Linkshells literally gain nothing from being included, while at the same time cluttering up the list and making things harder to read and understand.

Because once gear makes Turn 9 and any progression irrelevant it doesn't cause clutter as is. See the 2.0-2.1 Progression.

They can still get recognition from the world progression thread if that's what they want. Anyone can get some friends together and make a glorified chat room - aka Linkshell.

15k FC that has a house. Over.Glorified.Chatroom. Oh anyone can do that by the way.

FCs gain recognition, knowledge of standing compared to other FCs, and increased/better recruitment options.

LS gains recognition. Knowledge of standing compared to other static groups, and increased/Better recruitment options.

More members in an FC means more FC seals, better benefits

10 Minutes more on Food Buff / 15% of rez timer / etc worthless other buffs beyond that

Oh man! Gil is pretty much worthless at the moment and so easy to gain. FC Bank? Lol please.

Housing? Awesome tell me the benefits? Ours was a 59 Million gil dump plus another 30 million in decor materials probably.

This also promotes more people to get together and commit to their friends and create an FC. More members in a Linkshell is just... more members in a Linkshell

So I guess I don't commit to my 8-Man LS. More members in a FC is just....more members in a FC.
