Leviathan FC Progression Thread V4

Hi I'm Nutria Nito, Public Relations and Quality Control Officer for the linkshell Seven Miqotes One Hyur.

I'd like to point out that the progression thread should be about information. It isn't the Leviathan FC Tournament of Champions Thread--which I think some people are trying to make it become. People who open the thread want an accurate document of who killed what and when. If you left out our LS kill, the thread would be incomplete, inaccurate, and, on the malicious side...misleading. Somebody sees the second FC on the list, and everytime you're going to have to say to that guy "Well, it wasn't actually the second kill on the server because...." Or were you actually going to say anything at all? Does it make sense to put at the top: "There were some T9 kills in between some of these FC's, but they won't be listed and will remain mysterious."?

An FC-only list is useless--it wouldn't have all the information that people want out of this thread.

Manager of Foe Requiem here. The fact that a FC has to clear to get credit and that anyone could in theory make a dream team LS for extra attempts at beating other FCs let alone their own FC upset me. Anyone could raid up to the point that their FC is stuck, grab a group of others not in their FC, form an LS and clear it and then call it "progression". Think of FC and LS competing as an NCAA basketball team and an NBA team; ignore the level of competition and focus on the rules of the game. How can two teams play the same game each under different rules to win the same tournament? They can't. So, in the spirit of compromise, I propose we hold a single thread housing both FC and LS but under separate categories, because they are. Anything otherwise is simply illogical. People get to go to one thread for info, folks get credit, and everyone is competing within their respective leagues.

The fact that this has gone so far out of hand with over 12 pages to me is mind boggling. As the FC Leader of Control and the previous person who has done the progression thread for at least the last half year I'm surprised at all of this fighting, etc. I guess I should have made sure whoever was taking over for me was similar? Also there is a lot of talk about things that simply are not true. I don't understand why things can't be just taken from my thread and added onto. It's a pretty simple process really. I did the same thing with Raipin's thread and improved upon it a bit (Added FC Website Links). Everyones talking about oh people are going to make super teams and do this and that...honestly who cares. The point of a progression thread is supposed to show who killed what bosses when so that when people looking for FC's/Linkshells/Whatever can see that FC's progression and whether they are as far along/skilled as themselves. Stop acting like children and let's do it right. Like someone else previously stated Gilgamesh does the same thing and you don't see them all raging over the thread. Take a chill pill guys.

1. I never left out LS's in my thread.

2. I didn't go and check every persons player roster and cross reference it "Sorry but I think that's a waste of time and we don't need to be that nity gritty. I've had people come up to me and inform me when a FC or group was dishonest about their kill and adjusted it properly.

This makes zero sense, good sir. You could also pull people from another FC and have them join yours for a clear and call it "progression". Somehow that counts and is cool with you, but a linkshell is a problem? Please.
