Error 2002

I can't even get past the start button after the update. Anybody have any ideas why the 2002 error is occuring? Tried renewing my ip, resetting my router and pc tried every data center. Once I hit the start button I see it load and then boom, 2002 error on every Data center any ideas?

Same here! I just bought my friend her game and I tried to get her online and it keeps giving the 2002 error. This doesn't bode well for her game time.

I played a few months ago on the trial. I bought it a few days ago, and have been getting error 2002 as the start screen ever since. Change data centers does nothing. Router port settings does nothing. Plugging in to ethernet does nothing. However, tethering my phone to my laptop for internet allows me to play ( I cant keep doing this, chews too much data). I can also play at my mothers home. This is extremely frustrating!

hi i had the same issue error 2002 on my pc for a week

so what fixed it for me was a system restore to before the issue started happening !
