For all the good they do adding features, they do just as much bad deleting some.

The landscape of the game is changing and it is indeed false advertising if it persists this way. When you cannot even claim to have the same features discussed on www.finalfantasyxiv.com nor even the same inclination to improve them or head in the same direction, then something is wrong with the game's identity.
I can't think of one awesome thing that they got rid of.
