    unequip wep and go unarm ?

    At the moment no matter what you do or where you go, you will have to go around with a certain equip in your main hand slot. So I wonder if any think it is annoying ? because I do, look at the bikini beach pic Mr Yoshida bring up in the newest letter, do you notice the hammer ? look very ridiculous to me. Do you think it will be nice if we can go around without have a item equip in main hand all the time ?

    I see what you mean, but I can't agree with you. If the Armory System dictates that your class depends on what is in your main hand, then what would you be with nothing equipped? It just doesn't make sense. A better solution would be to have a display command for your main hand, similar to how it works with the headgear.

    be a none class character just like retainer ? also I dont think the display off will work in this case where the gear have its animation when your char begin to change to craft mode and attack mode, Image the char do animation take sword off it sword hold which cant be see because of display off and then the sword sudden appear in the char hand

    You cannot unequip weapon because its what define your class. Originaly we had the "Adventurer/Squire" class that was for bare-handed purposes, but it was removed during alpha still because makes no sense you having a class unable to change to active mode (because it would have 0 attack, 0 accuracy, etc) and having no actions of its own.

    Instead of asking for weapons to become unequipable, lets ask to be able to unequip undies instead! @_@

    I would like to see this class returned to the game, just make it so it's impossible to rank that class up. It would add immersion to the game because not everyone carries a weapon or tool on them at all times!

    This topic was already brought up in another thread. But I figured I'd post here what someone else has said. In past FF games there have been unarmed classes, such as the Freelancer. So I don't really think it would be a difficult thing to do here. Just don't let them be able to enter active mode, like stated above.

    Also, I'm all for unequipping undies!

    The thing about that is that being unarmed is typically associated with the Monk job/class. Yet we already have a Pugilist. Perhaps the best solution would be to allow Pugilist to go unarmed and still be able to put up a fight, pun intended. At least that would make more sense than adding an unarmed class that can't go into active mode.

    I really think a "hiding" option takes less effort to program than a whole new class with all kinds of resrictions.
    About the "active mode" problem: it could just be a part of it that any hidden weapon is shown as soon as you enter active mode. Still easier than the new class.
