How exactly does an FC go about buying more than one house? I'm the leader, and we already have a small house, so I think I'm out on land purchasing or obtaining the permit to build? Are others capable below me in the FC?

Depends on what actions their rank has below you.
Currently a FC can only own one land plot. Anyone with multiple made a side FC and leveled it to rank 6 to buy a second land plot.
Then you lose furnishings, the house itself, and still need to pay full price for the new plot. We need the ability to sell our house and plot "back to the bank" so to speak for down payment on a bigger one. A house is too big an investment to throw away.
Exactly! Also we want to have "chapters" of our FC with an HQ in each housing area![]()
Right now, creating a side FC is the way to obtain a second house. There's a FC in Odin already doing that to get their Mist beach house up.
I think a lot of FC will buy the whole street if they can... ^^;
you really shouldn't be able to have more than one plot.. HOWEVER... they should give you your gil back.. OR discount the price of next house purchased or something... and ya losing all that stuff sucks... we had like close to 8m worth of furniture etc stuff in our small house.. including what we paid for building fee and land.. when we went to a medium house.. we lost EVERYTHING... it really sucks and is a huge design flaw .. or a way for s/e to take a ton of gil out of the economy
