Different games for different people.

You loved CoH, I didn't.
I loved DCUO, you didn't.

I think it wise to decide if you enjoy the mechanics of an MMO before you invest too much time in it. Too many people join a MMO and then spend all their time complaining about it and trying to get it changed into something else.
If a game doesn't suit your playstyle find one that does.
