And casuals would benefit more from a lock-out timer. Yeah that make LOADS more sense. Thanks for clearing that up.
You guys were hiding somewere that didnt see the direction the game was heading?.
I say this with pain and not as an offence.IS TO LATE FOR THAT .
Casuals is yoshi target audience , dont let him fool you.
I think he'd rather cater to the OTHER 99/100. Not the 1 who decided to max everything before content even cameSpeaking as a hardcore player this 5 minute cool down makes me sad inside. Granted I'm pretty much out of things to do that I want to do. I was first on server to hit all 50's DoW/M. I finished all the side quests. I hate DoH and I've been casually playing DoL to kill the time. You'd think being able to enter the dungeons so often would make me happy to kill time with but it does not. Whats going to happen and I know it's been stated before is that we're going to enter the dungeons, rape them repeatedly like a drunk chick at a frat party and then be done with it. I can't use a dungeon for SP because there's nothing left to rank up. Unless the fight is really hard and fun at the end then once my team gets their drops I see no reason to go back inside. This means I'm just going to end up back in town AFK watching movies until 1.19 comes out. It just seems to me that they (SE/The dev team) is pandering TOO much to the casual player. You see, the hardcore player is spending too much time actually PLAYING and PROGRESSING to troll forums and spout out stupid ideas and opinions that then fill their (SE/The Devs) heads with these ideas that end up being horrible. 5 minute cool down?!?! Seriously?! C'mon SE! You're the people that created the most fun and challenging MMO I've ever played. With the creation of this game I had really high hopes which eventually came crashing to the ground once this game was released. Most of the people that are still playing this game are NOT casual players. The hardcore people have laid in wait reducing themselves to what should basically be called a casualcore player. The fatigue system complaints are a joke. Fatigue obviously didn't slow me down and I know I'm not the only one. I just happened to be first but there has been plenty to follow since. It's time to cater a little to the hardcore player Yoshi!!! You have a ton of other MMO's breathing down your necks about to come out swingin. This is not the time to take it easy. You need to give us content to distract or take time away from those other games because if you don't these other games will take it away from this in a heartbeat.![]()

Let me wrap this up for you:
Lockout timers enable the devs to increase the drop rate WITHOUT the hardcore population clearing the content faster than the casuals.
The drop rate can be as high as the lockout time is long. If you can do an instance once a week instead of once a day, drop rates can be sevenfold as well. Nobody is getting stuff done any faster, but those with less time to play benefit more from the time they put in.
It's not rocket science.
Tell me DevilsAdvocate, what would the difference be if the timer was a day instead? Like you said there's nothing left to rank up and outside of a challenging fight you don't care about anything else.
The game was advertised from Day 1 as a more casual game. Not Yoshida's fault you got into a game that was clearly never designed for you.
After running the same Leves over and over , the same grinds over and over . Why is anyone surprised at the Raids being on a 5 min timer so we can run them over and over ? Its only because its free that its acceptable , its crap and we all know it . If any of us had to pay for this level of content we would all quit .
So lets make the Hardcore players play like casual players. Wow. Stunning that this makes logical sense to ANYONE. CASUALS are casual for a reason. They don't have the time to run a dungeon 5 times in one night because they don't play 5 hours at a time, or even 5 consecutive nights a week. THEY ARE GOING TO GET GEAR SLOWER BECAUSE THEY PLAY LESS NOT BECAUSE OF LOCKOUT TIMERS.Let me wrap this up for you:

It's amazing when logic actually makes sense, right?
Speak for yourself buddy. I'm not so childish as to quit over a 5 minute lock-out timer. After running the same Leves over and over , the same grinds over and over . Clearly you dont understand that in all business you need to have a reputation and a customer base before you can even THINK about making a profit. They are investing because 1. they already invested to much to pull the plug now and 2 in the far away future , they might make a profit. But first things first."We are way past trying to make profit"?
Then why is the company investing in the development of the game?
they'll do what's necessary to break even and profit on this game. If that means short-term F2P status while working on making the game profitable, so be it.
They aren't a damn charity. I can't believe this needs to be explained.
Short term f2p ? dont make me laugh.
