Dont claim then you want casual and hardcore to be able to access the same content and then say hardcore should have low drop rates. orz.Thats just plain discrimination !
Time and effort should be always relative to rewards. But never over good gameplay.
Except when the company's profits are at stake. That's no discrimination; that's plain ol' business.
This game isn't being worked on because of you.The hardcore have waited almost a year for challenging content.
So somehow no matter how many times you clear the dungeon (1 or 100) you'll always have everything you want as soon as others do.In theory, it should take everyone the same amount of time to get everything they want from the dungeons
Like I already said; leave your fantasies at the door. This is the final warning.
Please check the trollish attitude at the door. K?thxbai!
In THEORY, it should take people the same amount of time to get what they want. 1. Casual players will be limited by their need to find a group to participate in and 2. Hardcore players will be limited by Hardcore shells that need to repeat content over and over again.
In Theory, the two should balance out.
"Hardcore players are limited because they get to do the content over and over again in a much faster succession than the casual players"?...and as such get what they want faster.
Your points make absolutely no sense. Hardcores benefit, casuals lose.
"We are way past trying to make profit"?I think we are way past that point.
Then why is the company investing in the development of the game?
they'll do what's necessary to break even and profit on this game. If that means short-term F2P status while working on making the game profitable, so be it.
They aren't a damn charity. I can't believe this needs to be explained.

And casuals would benefit more from a lock-out timer. Yeah that make LOADS more sense. Thanks for clearing that up.
Let me wrap this up for you:
Lockout timers enable the devs to increase the drop rate WITHOUT the hardcore population clearing the content faster than the casuals.
The drop rate can be as high as the lockout time is long. If you can do an instance once a week instead of once a day, drop rates can be sevenfold as well. Nobody is getting stuff done any faster, but those with less time to play benefit more from the time they put in.
It's not rocket science.
So lets make the Hardcore players play like casual players. Wow. Stunning that this makes logical sense to ANYONE. CASUALS are casual for a reason. They don't have the time to run a dungeon 5 times in one night because they don't play 5 hours at a time, or even 5 consecutive nights a week. THEY ARE GOING TO GET GEAR SLOWER BECAUSE THEY PLAY LESS NOT BECAUSE OF LOCKOUT TIMERS.Let me wrap this up for you:

It's amazing when logic actually makes sense, right?
Clearly you dont understand that in all business you need to have a reputation and a customer base before you can even THINK about making a profit. They are investing because 1. they already invested to much to pull the plug now and 2 in the far away future , they might make a profit. But first things first."We are way past trying to make profit"?
Then why is the company investing in the development of the game?

Short term f2p ? dont make me laugh.
I think we are way past that point.F2P shows. Now we need REPUTATION and a Bigger COMMUNITY. If they are thinking bout profits right now, then there is no hope.
Keep in mind i completly agree they should have a target audience, but not that way.
They all pay the same at the end of the month .This is like having a surplus on drop rate. away with it.
