    Line of Sight Damage Issue

I've posted here rather than the Bug forum 'cos my character level wasn't high enough, or I had reached my post limit (which is a silly rule Square). Can/will anything be done to address the problem of line of site damage from Disciples of War and other enemies? It frustrates me that as a THM when I try to retreat behind a rock to recover hp projectile attacks and physical attacks can miraculously bend round corners. I've run down hills into river basins and still died from the blows!!!

It's not a bug, it happens everywhere and at all levels. Don't bite off more than you can chew is the best advice I can give you. Some mobs you can outrun, some you can't.

Mobs work on the same mechanics we do as far as I know. If you're arleady in the process of an animation, it will hit. You can block their line of sight with objects but if they have a bead on you and start an animation before you're out of sight again, it will hit.

Due to the inevitable tiny bits of lag, enemies chasing you are always slightly closer than they appear. So, unless you sprint or run when they ready a long skill, they'll still be in range.

Not really. Enemy can be out of sight for me, but they still would be able to hit me until I'm dead (not just complete animation one time) without them moving to get me in the line...

From my experiences, a mob will just move if you try to go out of line of sight or out of range until it has you back in sight, so yes you will get hit either before hiding or once the mob moves. It is not possible to recover HP by hiding. also majority of AoEs are not dependant on line of sight (with the exception of the garuda fights)

It's not a bug, it's game mechanics. The only time it really annoys me is when I'm trying to hit the mob and keep getting that line of sight error instead, because it's on the other side of a signpost. xD
