Criticisms of your points would be A.) emerald/garuda and topaz/titan would have similar skillsets because the later egi are basically upgraded versions of them since they're replacing those spots. I think that's fine and the real question is whether additional egis can be more diverse past the tank, melee, ranged summons that smn have now and B.) I'm not sure you really addressed why Ifrit needs to be changed.

The reason Ifrit is regarded by nearly everyone as not being as useful in PVE as Garuda is because it provides nearly zero synergy to the caster(for some reason you suggest giving it a skill that will reduce the targets physical defense? also there's no way in the world you're going to have pet abilities on a 10-30s timer) and that it's nearly impossible to keep ifrit out of danger due to constant melee ranged aoe which either results in a smn constantly burning MP to either keep sustain up on ifrit or through having to resummon it in the middle of a fight.
