Archanists want an image of primals...not Digimons

Yes I kinda dissed the design team there but not in a mean or trollish way.
I sincerely just want them to progress and move forward instead of making it worse than it was.

Basically, why is it that FFXI can have a real representation of primals while FFXIV can't? I know it's lore related but really that's a bad excuse ALL AROUND.

Look, an image of a primal can be just that, an image. I don't want a 20ft Ifrit but at least a 6ft Ifrit that isn't a toy flying over my shoulders.

Square-Enix and Yoshida, please take into account how much immersion matters to us. I know immersion matters to you too. Make the people who loved Yuna as a Summoner proud, we want real Primals.

Hide them when you enter a city, that's fine. Or even turn them into the efigi-form you enter a city. But outside while in combat I want to see the real image of a primal.

Why not use the image of the primal we fight against in the class quest for obtaining that primal efigi?

it takes hundreds of crystals and brainwashed beastmen to summon the primals, hell even beastmen sacrifices ... you are just 1 person with a book on how to harness a fraction of the power from the primals that reside in hydaelyn aether.

ill take my egis + lore over "look at my primal i control it, im allmighty --e-peen--" any time of the day.

also in FFxi you made a pact with the primals after defeating them. here primals are not going to serve you, they are the gods of beastmen.

yoshi p already said it was made as an egi because having the full summon (even though it was a mini version) cheapened the summons.

I kinda remember what Yoshi says back then when we're in beta, says something about the primals roaming freely on the land. And any FC who're able to kill the primal will have the benefit of owning them for 1 week before resets, kinda like how Coil weekly resets.

Thx god this doesn't happened, figured there will be many players especially SMN who would be disappointed. lol

That would require them actually creating a summoner class rather than reskinning WoW's affliction warlock and calling it a summoner.

Don't insult digimons please. They are far far away better than the Egi's that float around in this game
