My Bit here is no Thanks Farm Scrolls etc , the way DEV has put together FF14 regarding the spell auto reward based on levell is perfect , nothing need's to change , besides you can add to other type by using your Guild Marks anyway's so. it is absolutely fine as it is and as mention earlier in the Discussion , it will only lead to selling them at Silly "Greed" prices no one can afford so whats the point of even thinking about "Questing fro Scroll's" its old hat FFXI is old this is new Game new way of doing thing's and thinking about it , lets keep on track please ;-)

You are aware that it doesn't have to be black or white? The quested spells/abilities could be rare/ex so you couldn't sell them, but at least it would give you a goal to work toward.

Yes guild mark traits are nice, but they are just that, guild mark traits. You get marks by doing leves, there is nothing epic or special about it. Quests with stories and battles are much more interesting, even DoH/DoL could have quests for theirs.

What is special and innovative about the current auto-learning of skills? It's bland and boring. Sure I deal with it ultimately, but it's still very uncreative and feels half-assed. I want things to work toward that is not always gears and that would be a very nice content addition. Sure FFXI was to the extreme, but like I said it doesn't have to be black or white, plus at least FFXI had you work for a goal which is more than we can say about FFXIV.
