what's casual got to do with what type of pc you have and graphics settings?
Turn off the following. I won't tell you how, because every computer is different.
Ambient Occlusion
Anti-aliasing
Vertical Sync
Shadows
And if you know how to enable triple buffering on your graphics card, do that too.
I'd also recommend, if you're playing on a 1080p monitor, turn your resolution down to 720p.
And finally, this goes without saying, but make sure your graphics card is using its latest drivers.

very funny.
i have all that turned off.

So....do you actually want anyone to help you get the game running for you? Or did you just want to complain?
If you're answer is the former then you should start by telling us your computer's stats.

yes.. please do tell us your computer spec so we can also help you get the correct settings that deem worthy to play.

Tell us your PCs specs pls so we can help you, I have a laptop with a 512MB graphics card, and an i5 2.5Ghz turbo boost 2.9Ghz and can run the game on medium settings, oh and if you turn off desktop composition in windows it disables all aero features while the game is running and takes quite alot of load off the graphics card that can be used for the game reducing lag and allowing you to turn settings up quite alot
Oo thanks for that I didn't know about that option to disable Aero. I'm a laptop player too, though I have a 1gb video card and an i5, I run the game on medium or else it takes ages to load. I've found windowed mode runs more smoothly for me on 720 settings, rather than the laptop's full 1080 screen.Tell us your PCs specs pls so we can help you, I have a laptop with a 512MB graphics card, and an i5 2.5Ghz turbo boost 2.9Ghz and can run the game on medium settings, oh and if you turn off desktop composition in windows it disables all aero features while the game is running and takes quite alot of load off the graphics card that can be used for the game reducing lag and allowing you to turn settings up quite alot
Plus, without knowing what this person has bought, just because a computer has been bought in the last month doesn't mean it's some water-cooled behemoth.

Np before I did that I had to run on low settings, now I can run on medium with just the usual town stutter when I first log in aero does use alot of graphics resources for a windows theme setting, but you will get your nice aero back after you log out if you do it with desktop compositionOo thanks for that I didn't know about that option to disable Aero.
