Even when I was young, I wanted guys to look at me with respect, not hormones. If they could only look at me for what I could offer, then they were not worth my attention or time.

But I am now happily married to the only man I have ever loved, recently celebrating our 11th aniversary. I'm not sure the rest of the world can offer me that.

Look, I understand where you're coming from. But honestly, the less you worry about how others see you, the happier you'll be. Especially in a game. You don't see me running around complaining about guys wearing Speedos, even if wearing them is pretty much taboo in my part of the world while it's normal in other parts. They wear what they want, and I'll wear what I want.

I have tattoos. Does that mean I'm any less intelligent than the person next to me? Hell no. Will some people think I'm less intelligent? Yes, they will. Do I care? Hell no. I've stretched my ears out and I can fit a pencil through the holes. Does that make me some kind of hooligan? Nope. I'm in nuclear medicine, and I care for my patients just like anyone else. I just like how they look. Does everyone like how they look? No, some people think it's disgusting, but that doesn't matter to me. The way I see it, if a person's gonna judge me based on the style I prefer, then they're obviously not worth my time. I'm not about to lose sleep over it.

Humans will be humans. We all succumb to some form of desire, whether it be in the form of a skimpy bikini or animal suits (lolfurries). Should it stop you from living your life how you want to live it? That's your choice. I, for one, have bigger things to worry about than what people think of me.

For the record, yes I am attracted to women wearing bikinis. I'm attracted to women wearing skirts, black-rimmed glasses, hippie headbands, hoodies, Chucks, etc. But I sure as hell treat them all with equal respect no matter what they wear. I'm sure I'm not the only one either.

This and the fact that just cause you attract doesn't mean you have to ... in simple terms "get with someone". Between block list on the game and self defense in real life (Including self control from either side) It isn't a problem unless you make it one in your mind. There's nothing really to argue against here. You don't like it? That's life! Just don't push your censorship on other people, do what you gotta do but leave people to live their own lives.

Edit: Sex has deep psychological roots to alot of things we do in the conscious and subconscious mind, and it's not just men, but women too. Human's are social and sexual beings, people who try to censor that are beyond irrational.

And what exactly do you think causes death, violence, gore, and drugs, particularly the documented rise over them the past few decades. A breakdown in values has contributed both to the breakdown of restraint, and marriages. A breakdown of restraint, people doing what they want, will lead as much to violence and drugs as anything else, because they don't care, just like anyone else who doesn't care. The breakdown in marriages leads to broken families, which leads to broken children, which leads to people who are emotionally unstable, whether it's that child, or the child they end up having that they cannot raise as stable as they should because the parent is broken already.

And yes, this is related to what you would wear in this particular sense. It's not really a cause as much as a symptom.

And I don't care about your tatoos. I've seen some pretty cute ones. That has nothing to do with a breakdown of values.

But to be clear... I'm not asking SE to do anything about this bathing suit. I wish they didn't put it up in the first place yes, but simply "censoring" it would do no good either, on that I could agree with you. It serves no purpose to simply tell people what they can or can't do. People's hearts have to change, and they have to decide whats really important.

As for judging... judging implies that I look down on people for their choices. That isn't the same as pointing out the truth. On a day I'm feeling particularly snarky (yes I am human, with the same feelings as you) I might shake my head at the stupidity, but that still has more to do with frustration with people than with judgement.

What I do believe, is that this world can be fully free of pain, hurt, and loneliness for everyone, not just the select few tough enough to not let things get to them. I believe it can be full of light and love. But for that to happen, every person on earth would have to contribute. Doing what you want when you want won't get us there. It is in incredibly poor taste to use this thread as a forum for preaching your moral ideology. You also seem to be misinformed, as violent crime rates have been in rapid decline since the early 1990s. In addition, while gender inequalities remain, women today are treated with much more respect than before this supposed "breakdown in morals" occurred.
