How are they not lore compliant? They appear to be made of cloth using means available in Eorzea. Is there some kind of lore I missed saying swimwear is forbidden in Eorzea?

It's Summer.
Our characters are enjoying the sun and beach.
They are donning bikini's and shorts to get the most of the sun.
After all, the seventh Umbral Age of never-ending rain is coming.
Make your own lore.
-_-; At the end of the day, it's a bikini and a pair of shorts.
What exactly is the issue?

I'm seriously amazed at how some people still find a way to complain about something so trivial as a swimsuit.
One person thinks they're offensive and doesn't want guys looking at her? Ok... I'm going to go ahead and assume you're one of those weird girls who go to the beach and swim wearing a t-shirt and shorts because literally EVERY girl out here in California wears bikinis (or one-pieces that might as well be bikinis), and I'm damn sure we're not too far off from the rest of the world in swimwear preference.

Even when I was young, I wanted guys to look at me with respect, not hormones. If they could only look at me for what I could offer, then they were not worth my attention or time.I'm seriously amazed at how some people still find a way to complain about something so trivial as a swimsuit.

But I am now happily married to the only man I have ever loved, recently celebrating our 11th aniversary. I'm not sure the rest of the world can offer me that.

What has this got to do with anything. This is a game, not IRL. xDEven when I was young, I wanted guys to look at me with respect, not hormones. If they could only look at me for what I could offer, then they were not worth my attention or time.

But that's wonderful that you found your life partner, nothing to worry about then! Even if it is a game ;')
People need to stop getting offended over everything.
Otherwise we cant have s**t in this game.
Relaaaax people. Enjoy the game! <3

The right man is going to see you for who you are, and with respect no matter what you are wearing. Plus some men find one pieces sexier than bikinis. So no mater what you wear somebody will be looking at you as a sex object and hormones no matter what you are wearing. Yes some men and women look at women and assume what they are are wearing reflects who they are. These people are fools. Women should wear what ever makes them feel beautiful and confident and proud. For themselves not for anybody else. I apologize for even posting this reply it is off topic but somehow i felt it shoulod be said.Even when I was young, I wanted guys to look at me with respect, not hormones. It's a little off topic, but it does have to do with it. I am aware that men will have some feelings regardless, and I don't hold them for it, as long as they treat me with respect and show some restraint. But saying it doesn't matter what you wear... that is simply not true. If you wear something that says "I'm here to be your sex object", that's what they will think. It's not just my word, it's the word of every honest, even respectful, man I have ever spoken the matter over with. And honestly, if you need to wear that to feel confident, I would think there might be some other issues at work. The right man is going to see you for who you are, and with respect no matter what you are wearing. All that being said, I'm not here to get in a fuss, as I said in my first post. Just don't poke fun at people who would like to have something a tad less revealing. I didn't say a word about one pieces btw. There are a number things in anime/games that I would let my characters wear that I wouldn't wear irl, but I do have a line, yes.
Tootles all.
"These bikinis suck." <---- Complaintbecause of this you really have no solid ground for complaining about the content.
"I don't care for these, I'd like to see something prettier and less revealing." <---- Feedback

Final Fantasy 14 ESRB Rating: T for TeenEven when I was young, I wanted guys to look at me with respect, not hormones. If they could only look at me for what I could offer, then they were not worth my attention or time.

Alcohol Reference; Animated Blood; Language; Suggestive Themes; Violence
They are completely within the confines of the rating system applied to the game, I understand that everyone is different and that this may offend some people, and I'm not knocking you for being human. However, the game rating is clearly stamped on the box and because of this you really have no solid ground for complaining about the content.
