Hi, now, my blacklist has been full for some time, and I try to report whenever, but I've noticed that they rarely
get deleted anymore so I've kind of stopped. So when there's someone new spamming me I delete an old one and hope they don't bug me again...

Now. What I would wish to be done about this are the following:
- Increase the blacklist, due to the amount of goldsellers out there it's just crazy to stop at 200.
or
- Allow players to block whispers from strangers (people who aren't their friends/fc members/linkshell).
If this ever happens, it would help out so much, and we won't have to see another goldseller again.

Didnt know selling gold ore is wrong ? It`s GIL , WOW is GOLD.

This last option is a very very bad idea. How can you meet people if you not even can sent something private before you add them ?

Empty your blacklist is also a nice idea. Do you really think that some gilsellers use the same name for months :P ?

Remove the RMT spammers that are at the top of your blacklist. It's safe to do so. They won't be spamming you (from that character at least). You should do so periodically.

Though, I would like to add it would be nice if they would add a feature where I could right click on the name of an RMT spammer, select "Report for spam" and it mutes them for as long as I am logged onto that character. It doesn't add them to my blacklist, and it sends an automated, times-stamped report of the offending spam.

I continue to dream that it will one day become a reality.

Gotta remember that accounts only get banned, and characters do not get deleted normally even if they are permanently banned.
Blacklist entries with deleted usually implies it's someone that lost their account to RMTs, got it back and deleted the RMT characters.

There's something plain wrong on this sentence.

OT, as others have already said, just delete the first ones. Just because (Deleted) doesn't appear on your blacklist doesn't mean that character is alive and kicking.
On a side note, IIRC they have changed the message you receive once an RMT is reported and now they tell you to safely delete the name from your blacklist.

if it says deleted it's because they deleted the character not SE, SE only bans them but they will stay on your blist forever as the character you blisted.

I'm not gonna argue on the gold/gil point, what can I say, you got me.

I do delete the ones on top, but sometimes they come back and spam me. I am just
saying that this is something I wanna be free from.

The second point is the most important one, turning off whispers from strangers,
because that way you can avoid getting a spam of whispers. I don't know how it is a
bad idea, it's not something you HAVE to do, you can activate/inactivate it, and it
already exists in a lot of online games.

I'm saying there should be an option in the settings, for those of us who need it. Most
new people I meet are in the Say chat or in PF, and I usually add them to my
linkshell/friends. That's why it feels like a waste to have it enabled at all times,
especially when they are so many, and I don't want to be constantly reminded about
them every day. It ruins the fun.

+ Oh and I didn't know it doesn't always say deleted. Guess I learned something new.

Delete your top 50 people from the list, Worst thing is you'll have to add a few more back.

No one will every be free from RMT tells ever (unless you turn off tells), As long as players are buying Gil. Gil isn't even that big of a deal in this game. Gil is mostly for vanity like Housing, Minions, Glamour, and top crafting gear you don't really need.

I spent currency all the time on gil in 11.I typically got 6-7k gil per byne I spent.
