For what it's worth, on T1, I've pulled the initial Cad (didn't think about marking - good call), and hold him on the edge/tip of the three platforms. Then on split, I pull him back against the wall, or at least a little away. This pulls them apart which can make things a little easier. And as OT, pulling away, I start watching his HP closely and when I estimate the split will happen in a few seconds, I combo REALLY slowly, and either have the full RoH last hit ready, or about to. If it's not ready for whatever reason, I hit him once, flash or CoS (which also DoTs the first one if it's ready) and am already running across the room, and finish the RoH combo when we stop. I usually hit CoS when I've already started moving. Unless the DPS start on him, I have yet to lose hate there.

Tip - if your last hit of your hate combo is ready, hit it, and during animation, you can start moving. The hit will finish while you're on the move. You don't have to stand and wait for it to finish.

I haven't timed it but if I calculate things correctly I'd have about 20 seconds to down chirada that would leave me 10 seconds to get the plume my way. Sounds tough but not impossible if a dps chips in (without stealing chir to themselves in area B [that would be terribad])

Sounds much overly complicated for a T1. Seriously. Unless you're totally goofing like not having defiance up, it's pretty much the pts fault, not matter the method for clone stage.

All dps should be making a clear path for the tanks to move, healers should shroud (sch don't pull much hate), and stoneskin themselves before if they're not comfortable with the fight. Do not hit things until they're in position.

It's not the tanks job to get rapid hate on t1, they are for positioning and staying alive.

Some other fights ya, there's a really crazy short time to cement hate. T1 is not one of them.

T4 for instance you really have to work on threat speeds.

Garuda...I don't think a dps can ever steal hate. Looks like the tanks are hitting the wrong thing. Though at like 20% echo it can get slightly tough.

It's fairly easy to get hate on a sister especially a warrior. And only provoke works ever on spiny.

I'll try the "ignore the spiny plume until chirada is down" method next when I get the chance.

Now I've also MTd in this fight a few times and the only real challenge there seems to be avoiding 2 slipstreams without getting the pillars totaled in the process.
Oh and double wicked wheel is an insta kill no matter what you do.

When leaving Spiny on whoever got initial hate, keep an eye on the stacks that player gets. If DPS is slow you might have to take it before the sister dies, or you let the MT voke it and get the 2nd sister from him then. This fight requires some coordination between the tanks, so you should make clear how you want to do things before starting.

Double WW is a bi*** but it's not an insta kill if you and your healers know when to expect the hit.
You can Stoneskin yourself (healers should also Stoneskin and/or Adloquium) and use either Rampart or Sentinel to mitigate dmg. If you time it right it's even possible to have Sentinel for every double WW.
And even it looks silly for a tank, running around in the small area you have might let you evade some of the attacks.

Btw. you can speed up the fight a bit if, when you are in the center phase, the person with Spiny runs to the opposite side of Garuda and the other Plumes are gathered near Garuda fpr AoE nuking. This way you can kill the Plumes and also deal some more dmg to Garuda at the same time.
Just have to make sure you kill the Plumes or stop AoE before Spiny gives a 3rd buff, to prevent it from dying when you voke it.

Double Wheel is highly survivable as a tank, and even fairly survivable as a geared melee DPS.

It is in no way an insta-kill, so don't treat it like one.

A tip I have for tank swaps is to swap on animation locks if a boss has them. Basically a animation lock is where a boss cannot move, cannot cleave and is usually powering up a move. Good examples of this include Titan ex upheaval and turn 6 devour and spit mechanic. Timing your tank swaps with these animations make the tank swaps clean and simple.

As for enmity like some people have mention, best way if your tank who is swaping with the main tank is to charge up a butchers block combo and wait to fire off the charged butchers block, same thing for paladin's rage of halone. However its not the end of the world if you can't get a charged attack, basically the idea is follow up with a enmity move right after provoking. If your the main tank know when the tank swap is coming and squelch any enmity moves your doing until the new main tank has a comfortable lead in agro. Keep in mind that all attacks do enmity so be really careful if your still close in enmity on the agro list.

Why don't start with the beginning for paladin?

As stated fast > swift > voke > halone > spirits

This will lock down hate. The other tank should be dropping defiance or putting up sword oath at the same time you voke.
